the rules

the album

Twelve pages, one for each of twelve nations; twelve stamps to a page, valued 5c to 20. All 144 designs are drawn on chain and shown in full before anyone buys a single one.

buying

A stamp costs 200 $ALBUM: 60% burned, 40% into the album. You pay now; the stamp comes out one block later, from that block's hash — anyone can open waiting stamps, and every new purchase opens a few.

the odds

First a page, at random (1 in 12). Then a stamp on it: each of the eight commons is 6 in 58, each of the three scarce ones (1, 2, 5) is 3 in 58, and the rare 20 is 1 in 58. Any given rare 20 is about 1 in 696.

binding

Hand in one of each of a page's twelve stamps. They are burned, and you take 5% of everything in the album at that moment. The first wallet to bind each page is written into it forever. Pages can be bound again and again.

the exchange

List any stamp at your price; a buyer pays it, 95% to you and 5% burned. Moving or binding a stamp takes it off.

left too long

A bought stamp that nobody opens within about 240 blocks still comes out — as a common, from a fixed recipe.

what the contract cannot do

Hold ETH, change the price or the odds, pay the album to anyone but a binder, pause, or be upgraded. The owner key names the token once and can do nothing after.

the risk

Unaudited. Stamps are random; nothing guarantees you'll complete a page. The randomness comes from a block hash, which the chain's sequencer could in principle influence.
